What: An intensive two-week program that will allow you to participate in a professional development program that will focus on quality instruction, curriculum and assessments for high school Chinese programs.
Who: This program is open to both current teachers of Mandarin Chinese and those who are interested in teaching Chinese.
Where: The program will take place in Glastonbury Public Schools, Glastonbury, CT but will also involve visits to Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT.
When: Two program dates are available: July 5-15, 2007 and July 14-25, 2007.
Cost: There is no cost to teachers selected for the program. Each teacher will receive a $1,000 stipend for successful program completion. Limited housing is available for teachers who reside outside the local area.
Graduate credits are available.
